FAQ

Q:Would you describe your service?
A: I provide social marketing services, business enhancement services, web design, and small business and personal computer services, including one-on-one training for certain software and SEO services. Some of the services I provide are outsourced to other companies, but I act as the project leader, so you, the customer, only deal with me.

Don't be taken by dishonest companies. Let me line up a team of honest and talented individuals that I have worked with in the past to ensure that we meet your goals.

Some services are provided over the internet or phone, and others are provided on your site.

Any way I provide services, my mission is to ensure that when I am finished I know you would recommend me to a friend or family member to use my services. Customer Service and Satisfaction is my #1 priority.

Q:What is your greatest strength?
A:I think my greatest strength is organization and structured thinking. With this I have found that a general business plan can be applied to almost any business and succeed. There are MANY intricacies for a particular business to make money but there are MANY general principles that must be followed in order for businesses to survive and grow. I love learning a new business, understanding the way other people tackle an obstacle and then giving input into how I think it could be made better. We both learn and it keeps my career interesting, that is priceless!

Q:Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A:I have not found a business like mine yet. I am different because I like to get involved in a company that is just getting up and running. I find it both a challenge and ultimately rewarding to work with up-start and small companies that allow them to work on making their business better while I try to increase their number of potential customers/clients/patients. I love coming into a place that doesn't know what social marketing is and running promotions that cause them to end up with more customers than they thought possible.

Q:How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A:I have been in the medical field since about 15 years old on and off. While going through my schooling I held down jobs in retail, restaurant, medical offices and general office work. Once through school I sought-after a job as a paramedic and worked my way up to being the director of a couple different ambulance services. After back problems started to plague me I had to find work that I could do from home and voila here I am. Although I have never made "great" pay I have always enjoyed my work and found great value in helping those less fortunate. Money has never been nor ever will be my motivating factor.

Q:What do you like most about your job?
A:I love the diversity of the projects I get involved with today I could be working on Mrs. Jones home system, tomorrow I could be doing Social Media work for a small business and the next day designing a web site. I love challenges followed by a sense of accomplishment. I truly love being able to help people see their vision come to fruition. I was a paramedic for years until back problems came to pass so helping people is in my blood.

Q:Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.
A:I have a huge project going on currently that is an on-line Medical Transportation Solution. This has been an extensive project that has been going on for the last 8 months and will continue for a bit more before going live. It has been fun to do with a lot of challenges and I have learned new innovative ways to accomplish tasks easier and more efficiently. There will always be better programmers out there but what I do I give 100%.

Q:What are you currently working on improving?
A:My graphic design work currently I outsource it but I would truly love to be able to a complete web site from the backend programming in php, database administration in mysql, and javascript and html on the frontend which I offer now to also include graphical layouts. I am OK at creating graphics but really designing a page that pops I currently leave to someone else that I work with.

Q:What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you?
A:What is my vision for my project? This is important to know where you want to go with your project. For many people they try to break their project down into pieces and then farm the pieces out one by one at different time intervals because of money, my suggestion is that you let a project manager do that for you. Once you have a vision, let my get you to the goal the most efficient and cost effective way possible. It is also good to go this route because there is a second set of eyes on your project that can look for things that you may not have seen. And lastly it will give you an understanding if the person you hire to do this shares your enthusiasm or belief in your vision/project.

Q:What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A:Website design: Do you provide screen shots of work BEFORE you ask for the first payment? Website design: Is all of your work compliant with CURRENT W3C standards? Website design: Are you going to use a CMS with a template or will this be a pure non-cms site? Social Media: How often do you plan on posting or providing fresh content for my site or page? Social Media: Is Craiglist valuable? Social Media: Do you recommend Facebook ads?

Q:If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A:WEB DESIGN: Some web designers look good because of templates for Joomla and WordPress and that is NOT a bad thing for many things these templates do work but remember that for small businesses with small sites these CMS applications like Joomla and WordPress can slow a site down and give a lot more fluff than what is needed. Its overkill in a lot of situations. SOCIAL MEDIA: You need a plan to keep your customers/patients/clients coming back to your page/blog/site. Keep it the content fresh, add in some controversial material (not explosive material) to get people talking and debating, and do something interactive such as a game or contest etc. Make it fun!

Q:What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A:Make sure you get the most bang for your buck. The most expensive does not equate into the best results, I provide superb quality work at a fair price. Money is not my motivator and never has been. Ensure the person that you hire is an advocate for YOU and not for himself. My saying that I have held strong to since I can remember is that "I came into this world with 100% integrity and I plan on leaving it the same way"

Q:Would you describe three recent jobs you've completed?
A:1. Business Enhancement Consulting for a small chiropractic service. 2. Telephone technology solution for small ambulance service where they needed extensions and smart call forwarding, voice mail and etc on an almost non-existent budget. 3. Event promotion work for a local DJ.

Q:Would you describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients?
A:1. Web site design: I personally do programming and database administration but outsource the graphics part out. From small web sites to large applications we provide the best QUALITY service available. Some others may beat my rates but never my service and quality. 2. Business Enhancement Consulting: A lot of businesses get stuck in a "rut" of doing things the same way or not looking outside the box. I will come in to your business or spend some time with you via email conversations figuring out what you do, how you can do it better, adding technology in, adding in services that can add to your profit center without a lot of up front cost. 3. Social Marketing Services: Facebook and Twitter are awesome tools and a lot of large companies have social marketing people to ensure their content is fresh but lets face it small businesses
